5 benefits of a hybrid training model
Now that 2020 has brought to the world a pandemic that forced it to move all of its life into its homes, training was one of the things that moved indoors as well. New training trends emerged to help us get accustomed to the situation, however, some old ways are being adopted and we thought now is the right time to talk about the hybrid training model. This model combines training with a trainer online and offline. You can mix the two ways so you one time you are at the gym or where you usually train and the other time at home in front of your laptop. There are many benefits for the hybrid training model we will expose 5 of them in this article.
1- You don’t have to work out alone
Even with the lockdown keeping us alone at home, adopting this type of training helps you not work out alone following a plan prepared by an app or your previous coach. Adopting hybrid training allows you to interact with your coach and help you do the right moves as he or she will be correcting your posture and exercises. Also, based on the situation in your country or region, you could work out face to face with your coach and he or she could give you some tips on how to improve your home sessions.
2- You are more motivated
You are training alone with your coach, so all his or her eyes are on you. This will motivate you to work out and to finish the workout when you feel tired and wanting to give up. You will be looking forward to your upcoming session, and if you do not believe us, try it!
3- You save time
Hybrid training helps you not skip your session when you are overwhelmed with work or other tasks. This way, once you finish your task you can get in touch with your coach and see if they are still available for a session. You do not need to commute to the gym every time, but instead, you can work out at home, comfortably. This is extra helpful when you’ve been busy all day and shuffling between tasks at home.
4- You get to choose where to workout
Hybrid training allows you to work at home and the gym. You get to choose where your session will be today based on your schedule and ability to commute. If you work out from home, you can also choose where exactly to work out from; your room, the living room, the kitchen, etc. If you work out at the gym, you could get even more benefits from the training.
5- You will use alternatives for your equipment from around the house
While this is not quite a benefit, it will be fun using your home things like equipment to do some exercises. You will know how much does every item weighs, and which one can be used for every exercise. The benefit here is that you will be able to use this equipment to work out alone when your trainer is not available to give you a session.
